The ISS119LA is the aluminium clutch guard for the SHIVER 750: anodised at the tip, 160 g fitted. Colour choice runs to 8 options and changes nothing about the fit on the SHIVER 750. Sold individually, so a SHIVER 750 needs one per side if you want both covered.

Key Features

Colour changes the look of the SHIVER 750, not the fit

132 mm guard length, measured from the bar end to the centre of the guard tip

The anodised end is the wear part and is renewed on its own

Protects the clutch lever of the SHIVER 750 from contact and from a tip-over

Bush colour is the only choice to make on the ISS119LA

Original SHIVER 750 controls stay exactly where they are

Fitting

No special tool is involved in fitting the ISS119LA to the SHIVER 750. Leave the final torque until the angle is right; the guard should sit parallel to the lever. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the SHIVER 750 first.

Why Aluminium

Stiffness matters at the bar end of a SHIVER 750 more than absolute strength does. The ISS119LA is machined from solid aluminium and anodised at the end that touches down. At 160 g it is heavier than the polymer version and stiffer for it.

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech's fitment for the ISS119LA is the SHIVER 750 (2007 to 2017). Fitting needs the correct adapter for the SHIVER 750 — see the note below.

Supplied As

LighTech sells the ISS119LA individually, not as a left-and-right set. Bushes are part of the guard; the adapter for the SHIVER 750 is the value chosen under “Adapter”. LighTech keeps the ISS119LA in its spare-parts programme rather than treating it as disposable.

Before You Order

There is a second part number involved in fitting the ISS119LA. It mounts to the SHIVER 750 through a bar-specific adapter, because handlebar internal diameters differ between models. The adapter the SHIVER 750 takes is KPL313; it is preselected in the “Adapter” option, which makes the order a complete installation. Owners of a spare KPL313 can pick “Without Adapter” instead.

Road Approval and Regulations

Regulations cover the brake side; the clutch side is the rider's decision. The ISS119LA is sold without approval paperwork. On a road-registered SHIVER 750 the fitted position is a matter for your inspection body.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS119LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 132 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Aprilia SHIVER 750 (2007 to 2017)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_4f371cfa-c8e4-4a84-b970-2f0630eefc9b.png?v=1791201098
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-aprilia-shiver-750-2007-2017-iss119la
