The ISS119LA is the aluminium clutch guard for the RS 457: anodised at the tip, 160 g fitted. Bush colour is a choice of 8 on the RS 457; see the specifications for the range. Sold individually, so a RS 457 needs one per side if you want both covered.

Key Features

Cut from solid rather than cast, which keeps the mating faces true

8 bush colours, all at the same price

132 mm guard length — check it against your RS 457 before ordering

No drilling and no cutting on the RS 457

Supplied with the instructions the RS 457 fitting needs

Original RS 457 controls stay exactly where they are

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech lists the ISS119LA for the Aprilia RS 457. Check clearance to the RS 457 fairing and mirror once fitted.

The Case for a Machined Guard

A guard that flexes away on contact has not protected anything on the RS 457. LighTech cuts the ISS119LA rather than casting it, which keeps the mating faces true. The anodised end is a wear part and is renewed on its own.

Installation

Allow a quarter of an hour per side on the RS 457 the first time. With the adapter in place the guard bolts on and is set for angle before final tightening. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the RS 457 first.

Supplied As

The ISS119LA is supplied as one guard for one side of the RS 457. With the preselected “Adapter” value, the adapter for the RS 457 arrives in the same delivery as the ISS119LA. Worn parts are renewed individually, which is the point of the system.

Before You Order

One thing to settle before ordering the ISS119LA: the adapter. The adapter is what carries the guard, so it is chosen by the bar, not by the guard. On the RS 457 the guard goes on with KPL331, which comes with it as long as the “Adapter” option keeps its preselected value. Riders who keep their KPL331 and only renew the ISS119LA on the RS 457 choose “Without Adapter”.

Approval and Track Rules

Regulations cover the brake side; the clutch side is the rider's decision. LighTech supplies no type approval with the ISS119LA, and we claim none. On a road-registered RS 457 the fitted position is a matter for your inspection body.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS119LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 132 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Aprilia RS 457 (2024 to 2026)

https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-aprilia-rs-457-2024-2026-iss119la
