leatt-moto-7-5-peak-camo-black-white
Leatt Moto 7.5 Peak Camo Black/White – Replacement Helmet Peak (4027010180)

Leatt's camo on the Moto 7.5 is not the woodland kind. It is built from halftone dots, and this peak carries the black and white version of it. Order it when the peak on your Moto 7.5 Camo Black/White has broken off or picked up too much damage.

Dots instead of leaves

The peak is white. Fields of black halftone dots fade in and out across the surface, getting denser towards the right edge, and a black diagonal band cuts across the lower front with a white Leatt logo in it. It matches the V27 Moto 7.5 Helmet Kit in Camo Black/White.

Fit

The Moto 7.5 is the only listed helmet. Its injected polymer shell is made in three sizes, XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL, and the peak is one size for all three. Moto 8.5 and 2.5 peaks are separate parts.

Designed to release

Leatt fits the 7.5 with a breakaway peak. In a crash it is meant to detach rather than catch, which helps reduce the forces reaching head and neck. Once it has released, a new one restores the full shape.

Fitting notes

The peak is removable on the 7.5, as covered in Leatt's manual for the 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5. The visor extender that comes in the helmet kit is not included with this part.

Material

100% chloride polypropylene.

In use

Leatt names three jobs for the peak: keeping sun, rain and dirt away from the eyes. On a goggle helmet such as the 7.5 it also shades the goggle lens, which helps on open tracks in the afternoon.

What you should know

Only for the Leatt Moto 7.5. The pattern is the 2027 Camo Black/White; it also sits well on a plain white 7.5, but the dots will not continue onto the shell. Delivered as the peak alone.

Specification

Part type — Replacement helmet peak (breakaway)

Compatible helmets — Leatt Moto 7.5

Colour — Camo Black/White

Graphic year — V27

Matching helmet graphic — Moto 7.5 Helmet Kit Camo Black/White (V27)

Part number — 4027010180

EAN — 6009556598676

Material — 100% chloride polypropylene

Size — One size

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/leatt-moto-7-5-peak-camo-black-white__1.png?v=1793484353
