You can run a firm, controlled compression stroke for hard braking stability while maintaining a fast, forgiving rebound for traction on corner exit — adjustments that would otherwise fight each other in a conventional setup. The hard-anodised finish on the aluminium body shrugs off the heat cycles and fluid contamination that come with intensive track use, ensuring your baseline settings remain consistent across a full race weekend.

Build Quality

Every component in the 25IDS kit is machined from aerospace-grade aluminium and treated with a hard-anodised finish — a process that dramatically improves surface hardness, wear resistance and protection against hydraulic fluid attack. The 25 mm internal diameter and 14 mm rod diameter have been specified by K-Tech's engineers to balance oil flow rates with the damping force requirements of the YZF-R1 M's chassis. At 723 mm overall length and 125 mm of stroke, the kit matches the OEM fork travel envelope while extending usable range. Note: compatible springs from the 36-260 series must be ordered separately to complete the installation.
