It simultaneously suppresses the dashboard fault code that would otherwise follow removal of the secondary air system, keeping your dash clean and your focus on lap times.

Performance on Track

The SLS (Secondary Air System) feeds fresh air into the exhaust ports to aid catalytic after-burning — a requirement for road homologation that serves no purpose on a race-prepared R1. Left in place during track use it can affect exhaust gas scavenging behaviour and introduce unwanted variables in throttle response. The JetPrime JP ES 010 eliminates the solenoid from the circuit entirely, allowing the engine and exhaust system to perform as intended without the ECU triggering a fault lamp.

Because installation requires nothing more than unplugging the factory connector and plugging in the JetPrime unit, the process is reversible should the bike need to return to road specification. The OEM-format connector sits flush and secure, with no risk of intermittent contact under race conditions.
