When lap times are decided by fractions of a second, the connection between your right hand and the engine has to be immediate, consistent, and entirely predictable. The JetPrime JP ACC 138 short-stroke throttle grip for the BMW M1000RR K66 (2021-2026) delivers exactly that — a 60-degree rotation angle that replicates the crisp, cable-pull sensation familiar to GP, SBK, and SSP competitors, engineered into a CNC-machined unit developed in direct collaboration with front-running WSBK and WSSP 600 factory teams.

Key Features

  • 60-degree throttle rotation angle reproduces the precise, intuitive feel of a traditional cable-pull throttle
  • CNC-machined from high-grade aluminium for exceptional durability and dimensional consistency lap after lap
  • Co-developed with WSBK and WSSP 600 factory teams — race-proven from the outset, not adapted from a road product
  • Direct, responsive throttle character optimised for both circuit use and demanding road riding on the M1000RR
  • Compatible with JetPrime handlebar switch units for a clean, integrated cockpit installation

Race-Bred Engineering

JetPrime built the JP ACC 138 from the track up. Working alongside professional WSBK and WSSP 600 outfits, the company identified exactly what a high-performance ride-by-wire throttle assembly must deliver: a short, definitive arc of movement that translates rider intent into throttle position without delay or ambiguity. The 60-degree rotation keeps inputs compact — critical when braking hard into a hairpin or rolling on power mid-corner — while the CNC-machining process ensures every unit leaves the factory to the same exacting tolerance.

Construction & Precision

The grip body is CNC-machined rather than cast, which eliminates the micro-porosity and tolerance stack-up that can affect cast components. The result is a part that fits the M1000RR K66 throttle assembly with zero play, maintains its geometry under sustained use, and resists the heat and vibration cycles that a superbike generates at full chat. For riders who have grown up on cable-throttle sportsbikes, the 60-degree sweep immediately feels familiar — purposeful without being twitchy.

Road & Track Versatility

Although the JP ACC 138 was shaped by the demands of international superbike competition, it is equally at home on a trackday or a fast road. The reduced rotation arc reduces wrist fatigue on longer stints, and the improved throttle resolution at smaller openings gives greater confidence when managing traction in wet or mixed conditions. Installation is straightforward, and JetPrime's own handlebar switch assemblies bolt directly to the unit for riders building a fully integrated cockpit.
