The 60-degree short-stroke design does more than sharpen lap times — it materially improves rider safety by reducing the angular travel needed to reach full throttle, minimising wrist deviation and lowering the chance of unintended throttle input under hard braking or mid-corner corrections. The billet CNC construction eliminates the play and flex inherent in cast or moulded components, so the connection between hand and engine is direct and entirely trustworthy at any speed.

JetPrime's development programme ran alongside the WSBK and WSSP 600 paddock, meaning the geometry, ergonomics and mechanical tolerances were stress-tested in conditions far beyond normal road or track day use. That pedigree carries directly into the JP ACC 133.

Installation & Compatibility

The JP ACC 133 is a direct-fit item for the Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M in RN65 specification, covering the YEC and GYTR variants. It is designed to accept JetPrime handlebar switches without modification, simplifying the installation of a complete race-spec cockpit. Please note: this grip is exclusively compatible with the Kit Steuergerät (kit ECU). It is not suitable for use with the standard factory ECU or third-party ECU systems.
