Design and Construction

IMA Special Parts developed the Racing STK triple clamp using Finite Element Method simulation to map stress distribution across the entire component under real-world braking and cornering loads. The result is a part that is stiffer in the directions that matter — lateral and torsional — while avoiding the mass penalty of over-engineered conventional billet clamps. The 7075 Ergal aluminium alloy chosen for the body is the same grade used in aerospace and high-end motorsport applications: stronger than 6061 and significantly lighter than steel, it provides the strength-to-weight ratio demanded by a 200-plus bhp superbike.

The adjustable offset range of 24 mm to 32 mm is a genuine setup tool, not a marketing claim. Moving the forks forward in the clamp quickens the steering and increases front grip feel; moving them back adds stability at high speed. Having this range available on a single component means you can dial in geometry at the track without swapping parts.

The STK Variant — Road and Regulated Race Use

The STK designation refers specifically to the ignition lock housing machined into this triple clamp.
