Gilles already lists the BRC-05 for it, a cover for the rear brake reservoir in CNC-milled aluminium with four coloured rings.

Key Features

Cover for the rear brake fluid reservoir

The ring colour is your choice, as a visual accent

CNC-milled aluminium

Replaces the original reservoir cover quickly

One coloured ring each in silver, gold, red and blue

No registration required, according to Gilles

Types RNA3 to RNA5

All three R9 type codes are in Gilles' list from 2025. Only one ring is fitted at a time, so the remaining ones are spares for a different look later on.

Fitting

Opening the reservoir exposes the brake fluid to air and moisture, so the job should be done cleanly and without delay. Protect the paint, level the reservoir, exchange the cover as described in the instructions and check the fluid level. If you have never worked on a brake system, let a workshop do it.

Specifications

Brand: Gilles Tooling

Series: BRC

Part number: BRC-05

Type: Brake fluid reservoir cover, rear

Material: CNC-milled aluminium

Colour: Black

Coloured inserts: silver, gold, red, blue (one each)

Fitting: Replaces the original reservoir cover

Fitment: Yamaha R9 (2025–2026)

Road approval: Not required (Gilles)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/BRC-05_1_1ffca45a-793f-443c-a417-b901c327a94f.png?v=1789994745
