The 108 mm radial mount geometry is the benchmark used in top-level prototype racing because it places the caliper bolts at the optimal distance from the disc centre, reducing flex under extreme braking loads and giving the rider a more consistent lever feel. Every surface that contacts a structural component — the axle clamp, the caliper mount faces, the mudguard bracket interfaces — is machined to tight tolerances rather than cast, eliminating the micro-movement that degrades braking feel over time.

The hard anodised surface treatment is not merely decorative. Anodising penetrates the aluminium substrate rather than sitting on top of it, making it significantly harder and more resistant to abrasion and corrosive road contamination than paint or standard anodising. This matters on a component that sits directly behind the front wheel and is exposed to brake dust, road chemicals and heat cycles every time the bike is ridden.

Installation Notes

Installation is straightforward — the kit is designed as a direct replacement for the OEM fork legs and mounts. No machining or modification to the fork stanchions, wheel or brake discs is required. The sole additional requirement is fitting longer brake lines to accommodate the revised brake caliper position introduced by the 108 mm radial mount geometry. Brake calipers and mounting bolts are not included in this kit and must be sourced separately.

Fitment and Compatibility

This fork leg set is engineered for primary use on Ducati Panigale V4 S and V4 R models fitted with the pressurised Öhlins front fork (2018–2024), where the 108 mm radial mount provides a functional upgrade to the braking system geometry.
