Each guard is crafted to order, finished by hand with the French tricolour, and built entirely from monolithic twill-weave carbon fibre — making it arguably the lightest brake lever guard available at just 35 g.

Extreme Components has supplied championship-winning teams across MotoGP, Superbike and national series for more than ten years. Every GP EVO guard is manufactured entirely in Italy, hand-built from start to finish. The "France" edition belongs to a limited series produced strictly on request — it is never manufactured in advance, which means the hand-painting is always fresh and the finish consistently immaculate.

The choice of twill-weave carbon is deliberate: the interlocking diagonal weave delivers a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio than plain weave alternatives, and the natural carbon surface is left exposed so the quality of the layup is visible to anyone who cares to look.

Performance and Safety Engineering

The GP EVO's inner profile is deliberately smooth and free of sharp edges. In the event of a crash, the rider's hand slides away from the guard rather than snagging on it — a detail that has been refined through direct feedback from professional racing teams. The outer surface uses a partially flat geometry that distributes impact loads efficiently and resists deformation during track incidents.

The front spoiler section was developed in a wind tunnel to improve the aerodynamic package of both the motorcycle and the rider. On long straights with the throttle fully open, even small improvements in frontal area management contribute to lap time and top-speed stability.
