Track Performance & Build Quality

The RAPID TEK name reflects BST's single-minded focus on outright performance. By combining a pre-preg carbon fibre rim — the same construction technique used in MotoGP and World Superbike — with a precisely machined aluminium hub, BST engineers have achieved load ratings that comfortably exceed the stresses generated by a 200-horsepower superbike under full racing conditions. The front rim is rated to a radial load of 855 lbs (388 kg), a lateral (cornering) load of 577 Nm and a torsional load of 543.9 Nm. The rear rim handles even greater forces: radial load 994 lbs (451 kg), lateral load 772 Nm and torsional load of 1,030 Nm. These figures are not theoretical — they are the product of rigorous independent testing to satisfy DOT E and JWL standards.
