Construction & Performance

BST's Mamba 7 TEK uses pre-preg carbon fibre throughout the rim section — the same process applied to aerospace and Formula 1 components. Pre-preg means each layer of fibre arrives pre-impregnated with resin at a controlled ratio, then cured under heat and pressure to eliminate voids and inconsistencies. The result is a rim that is not only light but extraordinarily stiff in the radial and lateral directions that matter most when hard braking and mid-corner loading are at their peak.

The 6082 T6 aluminium hub is CNC-machined to tight tolerances and connects the carbon rim to the motorcycle's axle, bearings and brake disc mounting with the rigidity expected of a performance component. The transition between rim and hub is engineered to distribute stress evenly, protecting the carbon structure across the full load spectrum that track and road riding demands.
