Race-Grade Materials and Build Quality

BST has long been the benchmark for carbon fibre wheel technology, and the GP TEK series takes that heritage further. The rim shells are laid up using high-modulus pre-preg carbon fibre — the same process used in MotoGP — delivering an exceptionally rigid, fatigue-resistant structure. The 6082 T6 aluminium hubs are CNC-machined to tight tolerances, ensuring precise bearing seating and consistent geometry lap after lap. Every fastener on the GP TEK is Titanium Grade 5, chosen for its outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to the cyclical stresses of race conditions. Carbon fibre inner spacers replace heavier conventional components, squeezing every possible gram from the rotating assembly.

Track Performance

Reducing unsprung and rotational mass is one of the most effective ways to sharpen a motorcycle's dynamics, and the GP TEK set does exactly that. The lighter rotating assembly means the ZX-10R responds more keenly to throttle inputs, brakes with less gyroscopic resistance, and changes direction with a precision that aluminium wheels simply cannot match. The load ratings confirm these wheels are built to handle the real-world forces of competitive riding: the front wheel is rated to a radial load of 275 kg (3.5-inch) or 327 kg (3.75-inch), a static load of 330 lbs / 150 kg, a cornering load of 783 Nm, and a torsional load of 908 Nm. The rear wheel is rated to a radial load of 283 kg, a static load of 551 lbs / 250 kg, a cornering load of 720 Nm, and a torsional load of 1,043 Nm.
