How the Puig Brake Cooler Works

As the ZX-10R builds speed, the system captures the ram air striking the front wheel, compresses it through the shaped ducting, and directs a concentrated stream directly onto the brake calipers and discs. The result is a measurably cooler braking system that resists fade and maintains a firm, predictable lever feel even after repeated late braking events. The benefit is most noticeable during hard sequential stops, linked corner sequences, and riding in high ambient temperatures — precisely the conditions where uncooled brakes begin to lose the sharp, confidence-inspiring feel the ZX-10R deserves.

At the same time, the aerodynamically shaped cover reduces unwanted vortices around the front wheel, contributing to overall front-end composure at speed.

Designed and manufactured in Barcelona using contemporary production techniques:

  • Brackets: lightweight metal mounts engineered for a secure, rattle-free fit
  • Finish: available in matte black (REF. 21452J) or gloss black (REF. 21452N); a carbon-look variant (REF. 21452C) is in development
