When Ducati introduced the Panigale V4, they redefined what a production superbike could be — a V4 engine with MotoGP-derived engineering and rotational inertia that every serious rider eventually wants to address. TGP MotoRacing's Hyperdiscs replace the standard steel intermediate plates in the wet clutch pack with precision-coated aluminium discs, delivering a measurable reduction in rotating mass and an immediately noticeable transformation in how the V4 responds at the limit.

Key Features

  • Coated aluminium construction replaces heavy OEM steel intermediate plates, significantly cutting rotating mass within the clutch assembly
  • Dramatically improved heat dissipation compared to steel, maintaining a consistent clutch feel during sustained aggressive riding and circuit use
  • Proven dimensional configuration already validated across high-output Ducati platforms — clean separation, stable bite point, reliable engagement every time
  • Faster V4 engine rev response and more direct throttle pick-up when accelerating out of corners
  • Rear-end stability under hard braking and reduced transmission judder during aggressive downshifts
  • Supplied as a complete set of 10 aluminium intermediate plates sized specifically for the Panigale V4 wet clutch

Built to a Higher Standard

The quality of a clutch upgrade lives or dies in its dimensional accuracy and surface treatment. TGP MotoRacing machines each Hyperdisc to the exact geometry required by the Panigale V4 clutch basket, with a specialist coating that protects the aluminium under sustained heat and oil-bath conditions. The result is a set of plates that sit precisely within the clutch pack — no binding, no uneven stack height — and that release cleanly whether you are threading through traffic or braking from 200 km/h into a hairpin.

The aluminium alloy used here conducts heat far more effectively than the standard steel plates. During hard track sessions, where clutch temperatures climb quickly, that thermal advantage translates into a clutch feel that remains predictable lap after lap rather than fading as the oil temperature rises.

Performance on Road and Track

Reducing rotating mass inside the drivetrain changes the character of a motorcycle in ways that are difficult to quantify in a spec sheet but immediately obvious on the road or circuit. With the Hyperdiscs installed, the V4 engine spins up more freely, throttle inputs feel sharper and more connected, and the rear wheel sits more planted under trail braking. Downshifts that would previously provoke rear-wheel chatter are noticeably smoother — a direct consequence of the lower inertial load returning through the drivetrain.

These advantages make the Hyperdiscs relevant whether you are a fast road rider seeking more confidence at the limit or a club racer chasing every marginal gain available within a stock-clutch-format build.

Installation Recommendation

For optimal performance, clean clutch separation, and long-term durability, TGP MotoRacing recommends fitting new or near-new friction plates alongside the Hyperdiscs. Pairing both components gives you a complete, balanced clutch pack with a stable, repeatable bite point — the ideal foundation for hard road or racetrack use.

Important: these plates are designed exclusively for wet (oil-bath) clutch configurations. They are not compatible with Ducati models equipped with a dry clutch.

Fitment & Compatibility

  • Ducati Panigale V4 — 2018 to 2024
  • Ducati Panigale V4 S — 2018 to 2024
  • Clutch type: wet / oil-bath clutch only — not suitable for dry clutch variants
