Build Quality and Design

Every metallic component of the silencer — shell, end cap, internal cone and mounting hardware — is machined or formed from titanium, keeping mass to a minimum while maintaining the structural integrity demanded by repeated track use.

The hexagonal silencer profile is a recognisable Akrapovic design cue, providing a visual link to the brand's World Superbike machinery. Fitment is direct to the SC77 frame, and the system is compatible with both the standard CBR 1000 RR and the SP and SP2 variants. If the pillion footpegs are removed, the optional carbon exhaust bracket (available separately) is required to support the silencer correctly.

Track Use and Practical Considerations

This exhaust is designed exclusively for closed-circuit competition and track-day use. It carries no road homologation and must not be used on public roads. The included dB-Eater allows the system to be adapted for venues with a noise limit, making it a practical choice for riders who attend a variety of circuits throughout the season.
