Accossato lists the AGD224 as a silver front brake lever in the original form for the YZ85, specific to those four seasons.

Key Features

Front brake lever in the original form for the Yamaha YZ85

Accossato's entry covers 2015 to 2018, inside the wider run of a second brake code

Silver

Right-hand side, front brake

An original spare parts type, developed for an affordable repair

Accossato states its manufacturing process improves resistance after damage

One lever per pack

No approval papers on file; for racing and competition

Construction and Material Quality

The AGD224 matches a brake lever outline Accossato has confirmed on the YZ85 for this narrower span of years alone, sitting within the original spare parts types the company built around an affordable repair. Accossato's own note is that the manufacturing method behind these levers improves their resistance once damaged or dropped. This fitment is silver.

An Overlap Inside a Twenty-Year Run

A fitment that sits entirely inside a much longer one is common where a running change was made partway through a long production life and later reversed or adjusted again, and it means a YZ85 from 2015 to 2018 is covered by two brake codes rather than one. For an owner of a bike from exactly that window, the question is not which years are correct, since both codes apply, but which shape is actually fitted. The same photograph-based check that settles any overlapping fitment works here: remove the old lever, photograph it from directly above on a flat surface with the bar straight, and compare the result against the product images for the AGD112 and the AGD224. Where the bike's history is uncertain, which is common on a model this widely raced and resold, that single photograph is more reliable than guessing from the model year alone.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the AGD224 for the YZ85 from 2015 to 2018, inside the wider AGD112 entry for 2002 to 2022. The AGS294 covers the clutch side for 2021. Accossato's CNC levers for the YZ85 are listed under B8262 and C7266.
