Accossato lists the AGD287 for the Tracer 7 across those years, a black front brake lever in the original form.

Key Features

Front brake lever in the original form for the Yamaha Tracer 7

Accossato's entry covers 2017 to 2020 and 2023

Black

Right of the handlebar, front brake

An original spare parts type rather than a tuning component

Accossato states that its manufacturing process improves resistance after damage

A single lever per pack

No test documents held; listed for racing and competition

Construction and Material Quality

The two-year gap in this black fitment's own coverage does not change what the part actually is: the AGD287 takes its outline from the same brake lever fitted to the silver Tracer 7, finished black for the years Accossato has verified. It belongs to the company's original spare parts types, priced for an everyday repair, and the maker states that its production method leaves the lever more resistant once a collision has occurred. No further technical detail is published, and none is supplied here.

A Gap Worth Knowing About

A two-year gap in the middle of an otherwise continuous fitment usually means the black finish was simply not offered, or at least not verified, during 2021 and 2022, while the silver AGD221 carries on without a break across the whole 2017-2023 span. A Tracer 7 from one of those two missing years that happens to carry a black lever, perhaps fitted by a previous owner from another period's stock, should still be checked against this listing's actual years before assuming the part is correct, since the gap in the data may reflect a genuine change in what Yamaha offered rather than an oversight in the catalogue.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the AGD287 for the Tracer 7 across 2017 to 2020 and 2023, with the AGD221 covering the silver version continuously from 2017 to 2023 and the AGS01 handling the clutch side from 2016. Beyond this bike, the black code also appears in our catalogue for the BMW G310GS and the Yamaha FJR1300AE, among others.

Road Approval

No German ABE and no test mark can be shown for the AGD287, since no approval documents were supplied, and the lever is listed for racing and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

One AGD287 front brake lever, black.

Specifications

Type: Replacement brake lever, original type

Part number: AGD287

Position: Front brake, right handlebar

Lever colour: Black

Pieces: 1

Fitment: Yamaha TRACER 7 (2017–2020, 2023)

Road approval: None documented, track use only

Check: Compare with your original lever before ordering

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/AGD287_92483fd9-d2d2-41bb-ae35-f8abea35e20a.png?v=1791122473
https://inter-pace.com/products/accossato-replacement-brake-lever-yamaha-tracer-7-2017-2020-2023-agd287
