The FE 250 is loaded or ridden out to the forest, the real work begins where the surface turns to mud and roots, and the return journey has to happen whatever the day has done to the bike. That is why a front brake lever matters more on an enduro machine than the price of it suggests: without one, getting home stops being straightforward. Accossato lists the AGD14 for the FE 250 from 2017 to 2023, a silver brake lever in the original shape.

Key Features

Front brake lever in the original shape for the Husqvarna FE 250

Accossato's list runs from 2017 to 2023

Silver

Right-hand side of the handlebar

An original spare parts type, developed by Accossato for good value

Accossato states that the way it is produced improves resistance after damage

One lever in the pack

No German ABE or test mark on file; racing and competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato builds this range around a single idea: give the rider back the part that broke, in the shape it had, without charging for anything extra. The AGD14 is one of its original spare parts types, so it follows the outline of the brake lever the FE 250 was built with and leaves the reach to the lever unchanged. The company adds that the process used to produce these levers leaves them more resistant after damage or a collision. This one is silver. No material and no measurements are published, and we add none.

Getting Home Under Your Own Power

An enduro rider learns quickly which breakages end the day and which merely spoil it. A torn grip or a broken indicator lens can wait; a front brake lever cannot, because the descent back to the van is exactly where you need it. There are two sensible responses. The first is to ride with the levers set in a position where a fall is less likely to snap them off cleanly, which usually means the ends angled slightly down and the perches clamped so that they can rotate under a hard impact. The second is to keep a replacement where you can reach it. Fitting one on a trail is not difficult if you have practised it: the pivot comes out, the bore gets wiped as clean as the conditions allow, the new lever goes in and the pivot is tightened so the lever still swings freely. If you have grease with you, use a trace of it. Before riding on, squeeze the lever several times with the FE 250 standing still until the pressure point is firm, then test the brake gently at low speed.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the AGD14 for the FE 250 across two entries covering 2017 to 2023. For the earlier machines, 2014 to 2017, the original-type brake lever is the AGD316, and for the 2024 model year it is the AGD319, so this model has three brake lever codes in all. The AGD14 is one of the most widely shared parts in the range and appears with us for the FC 350, the FX 450 and the TX 125 among others. The clutch side of the FE 250 is covered by the AGS14 and the AGS17, and Accossato's CNC brake lever for the bike is the B8283.

Road Approval

Our files hold no approval document for the AGD14, so neither a German ABE nor a test mark can be shown, and we sell it as a part for competition use.

Scope of Delivery

One AGD14 front brake lever in silver.

Specifications

Type: Replacement brake lever, original type

Part number: AGD14

Position: Front brake, right handlebar

Lever colour: Silver

Pieces: 1

Fitment: Husqvarna FE 250 (2017–2023)

Road approval: None documented, track use only

Check: Compare with your original lever before ordering
