accossato-piston-seal-34-mm-radial-calipers-up034
Accossato Piston Seal, Ø 34 mm, Radial Calipers – UP034

At 34 mm diameter, the Accossato UP034 piston seal matches the larger pistons used in some Accossato radial brake calipers, sealing the piston inside its bore so hydraulic pressure is held when the brake lever or pedal is applied. The seal sits further into the bore than the dust seal, out of sight once the caliper is assembled, but it is the part that actually stops brake fluid passing the piston. One seal is covered by this listing.

Key Features

Genuine Accossato piston seal

34 mm diameter

Fits Accossato radial brake calipers

Price is for one seal

Compatibility

This seal belongs to a 34 mm piston, used in certain Accossato radial brake calipers. There is no caliper code attached to the listing, so pulling the piston and checking its size against 34 mm is the way to confirm fitment ahead of ordering.

Fitting Notes

The piston should be fully removed and cleaned before the old seal is taken out of its groove, since any grit left in the bore can damage a new seal as the piston goes back in. A smear of clean brake fluid on the new seal and the piston helps it seat and slide without rolling. Brake work of this kind should be carried out, or checked over, by a qualified workshop, and the system bled once closed up.

Scope of Delivery

1x Accossato piston seal UP034, Ø 34 mm.

Specifications

Part number: UP034

Type: Piston seal

Diameter: 34 mm

Fits: Accossato radial brake calipers

Fitment: Accossato products listed in the description; no vehicle-specific fitment
