The YZ85 takes the set in orange, blue, black or Titanium, with a peg supplied for each side.

Learning the Fundamentals

Long before a rider worries about factory contracts or professional classes, most competitive careers pass through a bike like the YZ85, where the basics of race craft, starts, lines, passing, are learned at a scale that suits a young rider's size and strength. The bike's long, largely unchanged production run has made it a known quantity for coaches and parents, who can rely on parts and setup knowledge built up over many seasons by other families before them.

At this level, a bike that behaves predictably lets a young rider focus on learning rather than compensating for equipment that works against them, and footpegs are no exception, since a boot that slips at the wrong moment can undo a lesson that took weeks to build. A broad, dependable peg supports that steady learning process, giving a developing rider one more piece of consistent, trustworthy equipment underfoot.

Fitment and Compatibility

One footpeg code covers the whole YZ85 range for Accossato, this FR793, running from 2002 to 2022 without a separate listing for any particular year.
