On an FC 250 you want to keep the engine revving, so the usual plan is to jump long, land on the downslope and start braking the instant both wheels are back on the dirt. Done well, the bike settles into the rut and turns. The rider stands up, lifts the Husqvarna and looks for damage, which on the right-hand side usually starts at the brake lever. The joint in the B8283 is there to give it a way out: the blade can hinge forward on impact and then be moved back into position, and with some luck the next lap begins with the same lever and the same feel under the fingers. On the clutch side the FC 250 takes one of two Accossato levers depending on the year: the C7283 for 2014, 2015 and 2022, or the C7284 for 2016 to 2020.
