The hinge joins a black base, which sits on the pivot of the master cylinder, to a blade that can fold. The adjuster is worked by the left hand, away from the lever; for its holder you choose between 35 mm and 60 mm. The colour belongs to the blade and is one of seven anodised shades, with the RST lightening cut-out as an option. Base and blade are aluminium, CNC-machined and anodised.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhen the Hands Get Tired\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHand fatigue shows itself in small ways. After many laps of hard braking on a Tuono V4 1100 Factory, a naked bike with a wide bar, the fingers may not open as far or close as crisply as they did in the first laps. Some riders then prefer the brake lever a little closer; others want it set differently at the start of its travel. With the RA001, the rider can make that change on a straight instead of riding on with a setting that no longer suits. It is a small adjustment, to be made calmly and at a point where the bike is stable, but it can make the last laps of a session less of a struggle.
