Anodising follows: the base is finished in black, the blade in the colour you order. The base carries the pivot and the reach adjuster and stays on the master cylinder of the Tuono V4 1100 Factory; the blade is attached to it by a hinge that allows it to fold. It removes a small amount of aluminium, so the blade weighs slightly less than the NRST version, which is left solid. Some riders like the technical look of an opening in the blade; others prefer the plain surface of the solid version, which is also quicker to wipe clean after a wet session.
