So after any change to the reach on the Speed Triple 1050 R, run a quick test. Sit on the bike with the side stand up, the engine running and the front brake held. Pull the clutch fully and select first gear: the bike should not lurch or try to creep against the brake. Then ride slowly around an empty car park, pulling away and stopping a few times to learn where the clutch now bites, and check that neutral can still be found at a standstill. If the bike creeps or neutral is reluctant, move the blade a position further out, or have the clutch free play checked.
