The kit is suited to riders who cover big distances at a brisk pace and want the brake to match that pace. Since a braided line keeps its diameter under pressure far better than rubber, the rider gets a clearer sense of how hard the brake is working.

Key Features

Aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid over the full length of each hose

Fittings supplied only in plain stainless steel for a uniform, understated finish

Standard layout, following the same routing as the factory rubber line it replaces

Kit supplied as 9 braided hoses to suit this specific layout

Direct replacement for the factory rubber brake line on this specific model and year range

Stainless-steel fittings at every connection

Designed and specified by Accossato for this specific application

Construction and Material Quality

The hose in this ZZR1400 kit takes an aviation-grade stainless-steel braided sheath as its outer covering, giving the hose the rigidity needed to transmit line pressure with minimal expansion, across the whole 2006-2020 production. All the fittings on this kit are stainless steel, finished only in plain stainless steel, consistent with the fitting material Accossato uses across comparable kits in its range. The sheath on this kit is offered in twenty colours, so the braid colour on the ZZR1400 can be picked independently of the fitting finish. This still lets the braid itself be matched to the motorcycle even though the fittings stay in plain stainless steel.

Standard Layout and Hose Routing

This kit's Standard layout for the ZZR1400 means the 9 braided hoses are routed exactly as Kawasaki routed the original rubber lines, rather than along any new path, as specified for the 2006-2020 model years. No new interference points are introduced, since the braided hose simply occupies the original hose's path. Fitting the kit is a matter of removing the old hose or hoses one at a time and installing the new braided equivalent in the same place, before the system is bled.

Fitment and Compatibility

Fitment for this kit covers the Kawasaki ZZR1400 for the 2006-2020 model years, built to the Standard layout. Accossato also offers this Kawasaki ZZR1400 in a Clutch-layout kit instead; this listing is specifically the Standard layout, so choose the one that matches your preferred hose routing. Fitment here is tied to the ZZR1400 specifically, which fits a bike that is built for riders covering long distances quickly, where braking has to stay consistent mile after mile.

Road Approval

No ABE or parts certificate is documented by Accossato for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

Included here are 9 braided brake hoses, matched to the Standard layout. As banjo bolts and sealing washers are not confirmed to be part of the kit, check your own hardware before fitting.

Specifications

Part number: AGA0055

Type: Braided brake hose kit

Layout: Standard (S)

Number of hoses: 9

Sheath: Aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid

Fittings: Stainless steel (plain)

Sheath colours: 20

Fitment: Kawasaki ZZR1400 (2006-2020)

Road approval: Not documented (track/competition use)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/faecher_2208f9ef-2ed9-473e-8d0d-85588e386e11.png?v=1791108794
https://inter-pace.com/products/accossato-braided-brake-hose-kit-kawasaki-zzr1400-2006-2020-standard-aga0055
