The kit is developed for sport riding, where repeated hard braking exposes any weakness in the stock lines. This listing covers the R variant of the model specifically. Given how little the braid moves under pressure compared with rubber, the connection between hand and caliper feels noticeably more immediate.

Key Features

Stainless-steel fittings at every connection

Fittings supplied only in plain stainless steel for a uniform, understated finish

Standard layout, following the same routing as the factory rubber line it replaces

Kit supplied as 4 braided hoses to suit this specific layout

Direct replacement for the factory rubber brake line on this specific model and year range

Minimal hose expansion under pressure for a firmer, more consistent lever feel

Designed and specified by Accossato for this specific application

Construction and Material Quality

This ZX-10 R kit's hose is sheathed in an aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid, which keeps the hose far more rigid under pressure than the rubber item it replaces, across the whole 2016-2020 production. The banjo fittings supplied with this kit are stainless steel throughout, not offered with any painted finish, only plain stainless steel, in line with how Accossato specifies fittings across its braided-hose range generally. This kit offers the braid in twenty sheath colours, which gives real choice over how understated or how noticeable the finish on the ZX-10 R ends up. Colour comes from the braid alone here, with the fittings left in their plain stainless finish.

Standard Layout and Hose Routing

Because this kit uses the Standard layout, the 4 braided hoses replace the original rubber lines one for one, along the path Kawasaki designed for the ZX-10 R, matching the 2016-2020 version of this model. Only the front brake hose is included for the bike in this kit, with the rear circuit left untouched. Nothing about the clearances around the frame or forks changes, since the braided hose takes the same path the rubber one always did. A full bleed of the brake system after fitting restores the firm lever the braided line is meant to deliver.

Fitment and Compatibility

This particular kit is specified by Accossato for the Kawasaki ZX-10 R produced in the 2016-2020 range, Standard layout. Accossato's records also list this kit against Kawasaki ZX-10 RR (2017–2020), since Accossato groups these models under one part number; double-check your own model and year on the fitment tab regardless. Accossato splits coverage of the Kawasaki ZX-10 R across two kits; this one covers only the Standard layout (front only/ABS); the other listing covers a different routing entirely. This is a model-specific fitment for the bike, not a catch-all part, suited to a bike that is built for riders who brake hard and often, whether on a circuit or a fast stretch of road.

Road Approval

No ABE or parts certificate is documented by Accossato for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

This kit includes 4 braided brake hoses for the Standard layout. Banjo bolts and sealing washers are not confirmed as included; check your existing hardware or source replacements before fitting if in doubt.

Specifications

Part number: AGA0070

Type: Braided brake hose kit

Layout: Standard (S)

Number of hoses: 4

Sheath: Aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid

Fittings: Stainless steel (plain)

Sheath colours: 20

Fitment: Kawasaki ZX-10 R (2016-2020)

Road approval: Not documented (track/competition use)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/faecher_7c7928dc-0eed-4591-bfcd-6f9aa01bb0a3.png?v=1791108702
https://inter-pace.com/products/accossato-braided-brake-hose-kit-kawasaki-zx-10-r-2016-2020-standard-aga0070
