Built around a pressurised gas damper with a fixed external piggyback reservoir, this shock absorber brings genuine Grand Prix engineering directly to the road and track.

Design, Finish and Heritage

Öhlins has equipped championship-winning machines across MotoGP, Superbike and Endurance racing for over four decades, and the TTX GP carries that lineage in every detail. The twin-tube design — the engineering principle behind the TTX designation — separates compression and rebound circuits to eliminate the cross-talk that plagues conventional monotube units. The result is a shock that holds its tune lap after lap, corner after corner. The KA 468 is finished to the exacting standards Öhlins applies across its entire range: precision-machined aluminium bodies, a clean gold spring and the unmistakable Öhlins livery that signals intent before the bike even moves.

On Road and on Track

Whether you are threading through fast, technical track sections on a ZX-10RR or threading canyon roads on a ZX-10R, the TTX GP transforms rear-end feel. The external piggyback reservoir keeps oil and gas separated under hard braking and acceleration, so the damper responds identically on the hundredth corner as it did on the first. The hydraulic preload adjuster lets you compensate for a pillion or luggage in seconds, while the independent high- and low-speed damping circuits give a suspension technician — or an experienced home tuner — the tools to extract the best from the Kawasaki chassis.
