The diaphragm spring replaces the conventional coil-spring stack, eliminating the mechanical instability that causes pressure-plate judder — something riders notice immediately as a cleaner, more linear lever feel from engagement to full release.

The reduction in rotating mass is achieved by moving away from the oil-bath architecture of the original wet clutch.
