It strips 2.9 kg from the stock system — dropping total weight from 9.1 kg to just 6.2 kg — while delivering a raw, layered exhaust note measured at approximately 105 dB.

Design, Finish and Heritage

Spark Exhaust has been manufacturing race exhaust systems in Italy since the company's earliest days supplying championship-level teams, and that lineage is written into every detail of the GDU8845. The raw titanium finish develops a characteristic heat-induced patina over time — a natural iridescence that no paint or coating can replicate — making each system genuinely unique after its first heat cycle. The Grid-O silencer shape, with its distinctive cylindrical profile and precision-machined end cap, is one of Spark's most recognisable designs, offering an understated aggression that complements the Panigale's angular fairing lines without visual excess.

The titanium headers are TIG-welded to Spark's exacting tolerances, with smooth internal transitions engineered to promote scavenging efficiency across the rev range. Combined with the straight-through silencer core — and the DB killer removed for circuit use — throttle response sharpens noticeably and the mid-range delivery becomes more linear, qualities that are immediately apparent whether you are accelerating out of a slow chicane or holding a high-speed corner at the limit.

Performance and Tuning

To extract the full benefit from the GDU8845, Inter-Pace strongly recommends pairing this system with a purpose-written race map or a dyno session with a qualified Ducati technician. The freer-flowing exhaust alters fuelling requirements across the entire rev range, and an optimised map will ensure clean combustion, protect engine longevity and deliver the sharpest possible throttle response. Running an unmapped ECU with a full aftermarket system leaves measurable performance on the table.
