Performance & Build Quality

The GDU8840 is a half system, meaning it replaces the original silencer and connecting pipework while retaining the factory headers already optimised for the Panigale V4's Desmosedici Stradale engine architecture. The stainless steel mid-section bridges the original collector and the titanium FORCE EVO canister, resisting the extreme thermal cycling that destroys lesser materials over a season of track days. Titanium keeps the silencer itself light and thermally stable, contributing the majority of the weight reduction that translates directly to better lap times and a more agile feel under braking.

Throttle response improves notably over the stock system thanks to reduced back-pressure, and the FORCE EVO's tuned internals produce a characterful, spine-tingling exhaust note that matches the visual aggression of the Panigale's lines. For maximum power gains, Spark and Inter-Pace both recommend a dedicated race map or a custom dyno tune to extract everything this system has to offer.

Installation Notes

Fitment is straightforward for any experienced mechanic. The passenger footpegs must be removed before installation. On EURO 5 models, the plastic cover on the original collector flange requires filing back by a few millimetres to allow the Spark mid-pipe to seat correctly — a minor one-time modification that does not affect any other component.
