Öhlins has supplied factory race teams and World Superbike champions for decades, and the TTX GP carries that lineage into a road-legal product. The shock's architecture — twin-tube construction, remote reservoir and clean Scandinavian detailing — is immediately recognisable as the same hardware seen on championship-winning machinery. Every component is assembled in Sweden to tolerances that make the TTX GP as much a statement of intent as a functional upgrade. Mounted beneath the tail of an RSV4, it is a visible reminder that the suspension beneath you is no compromise.

Performance and Adjustability

The twin-tube TTX design separates compression and rebound circuits, eliminating the thermal cross-talk that degrades performance in conventional monotube units during sustained hard riding. The external piggyback reservoir increases oil volume and surface area, keeping operating temperatures stable whether you are pushing through a long sweeper on a track day or navigating a demanding mountain pass. The hydraulic preload adjuster — a feature rarely found outside full race specification — means spring preload can be set precisely without disturbing damper settings, giving you a genuinely independent setup process. Once set, the AP 466 rewards with a planted rear end, accurate steering under braking and the confidence to carry more corner speed.
