Developed to complement the razor-sharp chassis of the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R and CBR 1000 RR-R SP (SC82, 2020–2026), this is a motorsport-grade component built to match the bike's full performance potential when the circuits demand it most.

Performance on Track

Under heavy braking and through high-speed chicanes, head shake and tank-slappers are among the most dangerous phenomena a track rider faces. The SD 065 neutralises these tendencies by continuously managing unwanted steering inputs, allowing the rider to focus entirely on hitting their marks and carrying maximum corner speed. The adjustable damping rate means setup changes between sessions take seconds, not laps.

Because the SD 065 is a dedicated racing product, Öhlins and Inter-Pace strongly recommend the use of the Honda Race ECU and corresponding wiring harness when fitting this damper. Without the Race ECU, the standard dashboard may display a fault code — this is expected behaviour and is not indicative of a system fault. This product is designed, validated and intended exclusively for closed-circuit use.
