Performance and Installation Notes

The weight saving alone — nearly six kilograms shed from the exhaust system — has a measurable effect on power-to-weight ratio, unsprung characteristics and the Panigale V2's inherently playful handling balance. To realise the full performance potential of the GDU8836, a dedicated race ECU map or a tailored dyno tune is strongly recommended.

Please note the following installation requirements before fitting. The system is not compatible with the original pillion footrests or the OEM tail tidy. The original cooling fan must be removed before installation, as the front header connection requires that space. These are straightforward workshop tasks, but they should be factored into the installation plan.
