By separating compression and rebound circuits into dedicated fork legs, the FGK 227 eliminates the compromise inherent in conventional damper-rod forks. The 120 mm of travel is preserved in full, maintaining the ZX-6R's original geometry while transforming the way that travel is controlled.

Springs & Tuning

The cartridge kit is supplied without springs; compatible units from the Öhlins 08790 series must be ordered separately, allowing you to select the spring rate that matches your weight, riding style and intended use. This separation ensures the cartridge can be fitted with the correct spring from the outset rather than compromising with a one-size-fits-all rate.
