The SC-Project SC1-R is a road-legal slip-on silencer developed directly from SC-Project's racing division experience. Engineered to deliver a genuine performance and acoustic upgrade for the Aprilia RSV4, RSV4 RR and RSV4 RF, it sheds 1.7 kg over the standard unit and carries full Euro 4 EC type-approval — so you get all the race-bred character you want without losing road legality.

Construction and Materials

SC-Project builds the SC1-R around a titanium link pipe that promotes a freer exhaust flow, pairing it with an ultra-light carbon fibre main body. The heat-resistant carbon end cap is aerodynamically optimised and handles the extreme temperatures generated by the RSV4's V4 engine without warping or discolouring. Internal packing is a high-temperature sound-absorbing material selected to balance a deep, characterful exhaust note with long service life. The SC-Project logo is applied with the same care found on their factory race hardware.

Sound Character

The SC1-R produces a deep, full-throated sound that suits the RSV4's high-revving V4 character. Because it meets Euro 4 noise limits at the point of approval, it is usable every day on public roads as well as on track days, giving you a meaningful acoustic upgrade without the compromise of carrying a second silencer to the circuit.

Installation

The SC1-R is designed as a direct replacement for the OEM slip-on section. All necessary mounting hardware — springs, bolts and the titanium link pipe — is supplied in the box alongside a carbon heat shield and SC-Project racing decals. Fitting is a straightforward plug-and-play process requiring no ECU mapping changes as a prerequisite, though a remap is always recommended to fully exploit the improved flow. SC-Project backs the unit with a 24-month official warranty.
