A medium that catches more collects its load sooner for the same volume of air drawn, so the interval between cleanings is shorter than it would be with a P08. That is the shape of the whole Sprint Filter range rather than a weakness of this one element — the water-repellent P037 sits at 37 microns and 4,500, the T12 at 7 microns and 560 for extreme off-road use, and every step down the ladder repeats the same exchange. Drying is done in open air, all the way through, with heat and flame ruled out — then it is refitted dry.
