Sprint Filter's road-going P08 is rated at 5,050 l\/m²\/sec and filters at 80 microns; this T12 filters at 7 microns and is rated at 560. Nine to one is the widest gap in the programme, and it exists because retention and flow move in opposite directions, in every medium ever woven or laid. A T12 is not a better P08. It is the specialist end of a range in which the P08 is the sensible default, and on a big twin the flow handed over is real. If a stage packs in more than that will move, lukewarm water with a mild detergent lifts the rest; keep rinsing until the run-off is clear. Then let it dry completely in the open — never against a radiator, a heat gun or a flame — and refit it dry. There is no oiling step in the life of a PM127T12.
