Performance Gains
Fitting the SC1-R to your CBR 1000 RR SC77 yields measurable, dyno-verified improvements. The slip-on unlocks +5.6 hp at 11,800 rpm and an additional +3.9 Nm of torque at 9,900 rpm, sharpening throttle response and stretching the top-end charge. The most immediate transformation, however, is mass: the SC1-R weighs just 2.1 kg against the 3.3 kg stock unit, saving 1.2 kg from directly behind the centre of gravity. The titanium collector, shaped with welded segmented bends, optimises exhaust gas flow while reducing operating temperatures through improved heat dissipation and increased airflow velocity.
Sound Character
The SC1-R produces a deep, full-throated racing exhaust note that defines the character of the Honda CBR 1000 RR at every point in the rev range. Supplied with a dB killer for a rich, composed sound suited to open track days, the silencer can be run without the insert to release an uncompromising MotoGP-level volume for closed competition circuits. Note: this exhaust system is developed for racing use only and is not road-legal.
