DescriptionThe whole story▼
Two ducts that clamp ahead of the front calipers and route air across them. They attach to the caliper body itself, which is the detail that governs whether they fit anything at all.
Key Features
- Set of two, left and right
- 200 Plain weave, autoclave-cured
- Clamps to the caliper, not to fork or mudguard
- Fitment depends on the calipers, not the model badge
- Ninja ZX-10R, 2011 to 2015
On a Bike This Age, Check What Is Actually Fitted
These ZX-10Rs are now a decade or more old, and a fair number have been through track use, a crash or two and at least one owner with opinions about brakes. Aftermarket calipers are common on this generation.
Because the ducts clamp around the caliper, a swap that made the bike stop better may have made this part impossible. Look at what is bolted to your fork before ordering rather than at the year on the logbook.
Where Brake Cooling Earns Its Place
Repeated heavy braking from high speed, lap after lap. That is the condition these were drawn for, and it is a circuit condition. Road riding does not load a caliper hard enough or often enough for cooling to be the limiting factor, so on a road bike these are an appearance item. That is a fine reason to buy them as long as it is the real one.
Fitment and Compatibility
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, model years 2011 to 2015, with the original front calipers.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this set. Anything clamped to a brake component is worth showing an inspector before it goes on a registered motorcycle.
Fitting
Torque discipline matters more here than anywhere else in this catalogue. A duct that works loose next to a spinning wheel becomes a serious problem instantly. Check them after the first ride and at every service afterwards.
