DescriptionThe whole story▼
Not every NK 800 leaves the garage only when the forecast is friendly. Plenty of them are the one machine in the household, ridden to work in November and out again on the first dry Saturday of February. Accossato covers that use with the AGPA106 front pad in its Sintered material, article AGPA106ST. The listing is a narrow one, the 2024 season of the CFMOTO NK 800 in the GP version, and the company's account of the material turns on grip that stays high and even whether the disc is cold or hot, and on faces that still answer when the road is wet.
Key Features
- Front brake pads for the CFMOTO NK 800 of the 2024 season
- Article AGPA106ST: the AGPA106 outline carrying the Sintered friction material
- Accossato describes a grip level that holds steady from cold to hot
- Water on the disc is treated as normal duty rather than as an exception
- Two pads per box, which is one caliper's worth
- Accossato lists this outline for the NK 800 GP of 2024 only
- The same outline is also offered in EV1, EV2 and ZXC
- No German ABE on file, so it is supplied for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Sintered is the material Accossato reaches for when weather is part of the job. Its claim has two halves: the grip arriving at the lever should sit at the same high level at low and at high temperature, and it should still be there with water on the faces. Behind the friction layer sits a plate common to every AGPA106 in the range. Nothing about that steel tells you which article you are holding, which is why the suffix on the box, and not the shape in the photograph, is what you order by.
A First Year Ridden Through the Winter
Winter riding on a naked machine is a sequence of cold starts. The bike stands out overnight or in an unheated garage, the discs sit at the temperature of the air, and the first junction arrives long before anything has warmed up. A rider who has to guess how much lever that first stop will need ends up riding more tentatively than the traffic around them, which is a risk of its own.
Salt and grit add the second job. They gather behind the pads and around the pistons, so a rinse and a proper look every few weeks is worth far more in February than in July. Check what is left of the friction material, glance at the fluid in the reservoir, and on the day the pads come out, clean each piston before it goes back. An NK 800 used all year deserves that quarter of an hour more than a fair-weather bike does.
Fitment and Compatibility
The entry for the AGPA106 covers the 2024 NK 800 GP and stops there. Accossato lists a second front shape for this machine, the AGPA96, over 2024 to 2026, so the two articles overlap in one season and the caliper on your own bike decides which of them belongs in it; hold the old pad against the picture before you order. The rear of the NK 800 is served by the AGPA29 from 2024 to 2026. A box holds what one caliper needs, so count the calipers on the front wheel first.
Road Approval
We hold no test certificates for the AGPA106ST and there is no German ABE behind it. The pads therefore leave the shop as competition parts, meant for closed circuits rather than public roads.
Scope of Delivery
A single box with two AGPA106 pads in the Sintered material, the pair one caliper works with.
