Spark developed this slip-on around a constraint most exhaust makers ignore: it has to work with the panniers still on. The dB-killer was designed for side-case clearance, and the carrier is titanium and cut for the Vario cases.
Key Features
- Euro 5+ approved slip-on for the BMW R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure, 2023 to 2026.
- Force Evo silencer with a titanium case and a carbon fibre end cap.
- Titanium carrier, cut to work with the BMW Vario cases.
- dB-killer developed specifically for compatibility with side panniers.
- 1,9 kg against 2,2 kg for the standard silencer.
- Spark supplies an EC homologation certificate.
Built Around the Luggage
An R 1300 GS spends most of its life with cases fitted, and an aftermarket silencer that fouls them is useless to the person who bought the bike to travel on. Spark says explicitly that the dB-killer on this slip-on was developed to keep the side panniers usable, and the carrier is made in titanium and shaped for BMW's Vario system.
That is a small sentence in a catalogue and a large one in practice. It is the difference between an exhaust you fit and one you fit and then take off again in April.
The Groove Down the Body
The Force Evo case is titanium with a single groove pressed along its length, running forward from the carbon end cap and dying into the body. Spark's own description calls it a fusion of grit and elegance, which is catalogue language for a shape that is angular without being aggressive about it.
The end cap is carbon fibre, cut at an angle, and the weave is left visible. Against the grey titanium and the black bodywork of a GS it is the only part of the exhaust that reads as a finish rather than a component.
Euro 5+, Not Euro 5
Spark states Euro 5+ homologation for this slip-on, which is the current standard rather than the one before it. That matters on a 2023-onwards machine, because an exhaust approved to the earlier norm is not automatically valid on a bike registered under the later one.
Spark's stated development goal was a deeper, harder sound that still passes the regulation, and its R&D notes for the R 1300 GS are specific that the work was aimed at road use rather than at a track figure.
Three Hundred Grams
1,9 kg against 2,2. Nobody buys a GS slip-on for the weight, and Spark does not pretend otherwise — the standard BMW silencer is already a reasonably light thing. What changes is the material, the finish and the sound.
Which One of the Three
Spark builds three Euro 5+ slip-ons for this motorcycle. This is the Force Evo, the quieter shape of the family. The Fighter Evo is the angular one with a ribbed cap: GBM0609TOM in titanium at 861 euro and GBM0609BOM in black ceramic at 1.023 euro.
All three share the approval, the pannier clearance and the carbon end cap. What differs is the case shape, the finish and the price.
Fitment & Compatibility
BMW R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure, 2023 to 2026, including the Triple Black, Trophy and Option 719 equipment lines. Spark lists no other machine for this part number.
Road Approval
EC type-approved to Euro 5+. Spark supplies the homologation certificate with the part; file it with the vehicle documents.
