Öhlins publishes sag targets, and those are the reference for choosing a rate. Springs are the cheapest suspension part and the one that decides the most. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour.

Genuine Service Part

Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Getting the Number Right

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 25700-01 in this case. dimension a 112 mm, dimension b 158 mm, dimension c 29 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. A spring that has settled in service sits shorter than new and quietly lowers the ride height.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25700-01

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 112 mm

Dimension B: 158 mm

Dimension C: 29 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25700-01_c79cd5e1-aa4d-4499-914b-71829d7da627.png?v=1788880987
