Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 03165-01

Original Öhlins service part

Function

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. A hose-mounted reservoir lets the damper be fitted where a piggyback would not go. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Why the Original

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 03165-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect. A hose-mounted reservoir lets the damper be fitted where a piggyback would not go.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03165-01

Category: Reservoirs

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03165-01_34e10dc1-919c-42fd-9256-f548302545be.png?v=1788872166
