Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Reservoir caps carry the gas valve and are torqued to a specification. Öhlins pressure-tests its hoses because a reservoir line carries the full gas charge.

Why the Original

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 00403-03 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 49 mm, dimension b 100 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Reservoir caps carry the gas valve and are torqued to a specification. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00403-03

Category: Reservoirs

Dimension A: 49 mm

Dimension B: 100 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00403-03_46953935-2e56-40f9-8e00-7e9f7abb7fb3.png?v=1788871818
