A small quantity goes a long way — these are assembly materials, not consumables in use. Using the specified grease is part of the rebuild specification, not a detail. Öhlins packages these in sizes that suit a workshop rather than a production line.

Genuine Service Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 00159-02 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. A small quantity goes a long way — these are assembly materials, not consumables in use. Öhlins specifies its own greases and fluids because the damping curves were developed with them.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00159-02

Category: Lubricants

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/a_img-00000336_8befaa86-6a36-49db-837d-125953453e25.png?v=1789655023
