Key Features
- Öhlins part number 02400-01
- Dimension C 32 mm
- Dimension B 38 mm
- Dimension A 19 mm
- Original Öhlins service part
What It Is
Dimensionally this is 19 mm, 38 mm, 32 mm, which is how it is told apart from the rest of the range. This part comes from the same production line as the components it is fitted to. This part comes from the same production as the components it goes into. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous.
Why the Original
The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.
How to Be Sure It Fits
02400-01 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check dimension a 19 mm, dimension b 38 mm, dimension c 32 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece. Service parts are what make an Öhlins unit worth rebuilding rather than replacing.
Fitting and Setup Service
Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.
