DescriptionThe whole story▼
Husqvarna only built the TE 250 under this particular fitment for a single season, 2016, squeezed between an earlier and a later version of the same model name, and for that one year Accossato supplies a two-hose braided kit covering the front and rear brake circuit. Fittings can be had plain in stainless steel or painted in one of five colours, with the usual twenty sheath colours for the braid itself.
Key Features
- Two-hose set for the 2016 TE 250, front and rear
- Standard S-layout routing
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings in five colours
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Shared part number with the 2014–2016 FE and TE range
Construction and Material Quality
The braid on both hoses is stainless aeronautical weave, and Accossato offers the fittings either bare in stainless steel or painted across five colours, with twenty shades available for the sheath itself. None of that differs from the kits either side of this one calendar year; only the part number tied to the 2016 build date changes.
One Model Year, Four Other Fitments
Because the TE 250 only carried this exact hardware in 2016, Accossato lists the bike alongside the FE 250 through FE 501 and the two-stroke TE 125 and TE 300 from the same broader period rather than giving the single model year its own isolated code. Every other TE 250 model year needs a different part entirely: 2010–2015 bikes use AGF3008 for the brake circuit or the clutch-only AGC3006, a lone 2017 bike drops to a rear-only hose, and 2018–2020 bikes move to the stainless-only AGF3013.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits only the Husqvarna TE 250 built in 2016, and the same part also covers the FE 250, FE 350, FE 450 and FE 501 of that period, plus the TE 125 and TE 300. Any other TE 250 model year needs a different kit entirely; see AGF3008 for 2010–2015, AGA0282 for 2017, or AGF3013 for 2018–2020.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
