Hydraulic preload adjusters are sealed units and are replaced rather than opened. A worn adjuster loses its clicks, and with them any chance of a methodical setup. Electronically controlled adjusters replace the needle with a solenoid but keep the same hydraulics.

Why the Original

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 00820-03. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Hydraulic preload adjusters are sealed units and are replaced rather than opened. Electronically controlled adjusters replace the needle with a solenoid but keep the same hydraulics.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00820-03

Category: Adjusters

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00820-03_f20a2487-3a3e-4d00-b2d5-5b85cc68b20a.png?v=1788872746
